Syringa House girls each summer go to Camp Perkins

Lake Alturas

"On the camping trip we had lots of fun activities.  We had an awesome instructor -- ana-jive.  We stayed in a cabin that was comfortable and roomy.  We had a separate cabin with just showers and bathrooms that were clean and convenient.  We had a cafeteria where we ate home cooked meals 3 times a day.  We did archery, bike riding and every night we roasted marshmellows by a camp fire and sang camp songs.  There is a big lake that we swam, canoed, and paddled boated in.  We also helped out and re-pebbled their walk way that was flushed by the rain.  There wasn't a dull moment of time at the camping trip.  It was all fun!  Thank you."  Kelly
