Krista has served on the board since 2024, though her connection to Northwest Children's Home spans decades. Her mother's 30-year career at NCH introduced Krista to the organization's mission early—as a teenager in the 1980s, she spent after-school hours tracking donations and writing thank-you letters to donors.

As a registered nurse with over 20 years in clinical practice, nursing education, and academic leadership, and a prior 15 years of experience in the health insurance industry, Krista brings a healthcare perspective that strongly aligns with NCH's mission and vision. She champions the evidence-based practices that guide NCH's care delivery and drive positive outcomes for the children and families served.

Outside of her professional and board commitments, Krista and her husband enjoy traveling and cherishing time with their grandchildren.
