Kim Bacon serves as the Education Administrator (Principal) at the Northwest Children’s Home, overseeing the education program on both main campus and the Education Center. In 1994 she earned a bachelor’s degrees in elementary education and psychology. She taught in and around Milwaukee WI for 8 years before moving to the LC Valley.

Over the past 23 years Kim has worked in the education department in various roles, such as Classroom Aid, Title 1 Reading Instructor, Teacher, Special Education Teacher and Assistant Education Director (Vice Principal). In 2015 Kim earned her master’s in Educational Leadership and has been the Education Administrator for the last 10 years.

Kim is inspired to help the youth we serve achieve educational and behavioral goals to integrate into the public school setting and become responsible, productive adults.
